The Caretaker is a service-oriented individual who provides hands-on assistance to the Property Manager and works closely with contractors and the house staff to maintain Family properties at the highest standards and support household operations.

Under the day-to-day direction of the Property Manager and collaborating closely with a variety of contractors/trades, vendors, households, and Finance/Administrative staff, the Caretaker contributes to the smooth and efficient running of several residential Family properties in Garrison, NY and New York, NY, providing day to day operational and household support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to property care; equipment and vehicle maintenance; household maintenance, stocking, and repairs; household errands; seasonal maintenance; and rubbish management and removal. The Caretaker is also responsible for ensuring the home exteriors and surrounding property are always well-maintained.

The Caretaker will also work in New York City 1-2 days per week, providing operational and household property support to private residences (and commercial properties, as needed)

Job Description

A client is looking for an experienced Private Chef in Litchfield County, CT. Candidates must have previous experience cooking as a private chef in a quiet home.

This position consists of a 4-day work week, including weekends, preferably Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Days may vary as well as the need for breakfast. The current Chef of 15 years will work the remaining 3 days.

The client enjoys clean, organic, fresh, seasonal cooking. The ideal candidate will have a quiet demeanor and be enthusiastic about sourcing ingredients from their garden and local markets. Ideally, the Chef is experienced in a variety of cuisines with a focus on a conscious neat presentation.

Typical Menu Schedule:

 9:30 AM – 10 AM Varies but some form of protein, muffin, dairy, fresh fruit, and drink (1 person)

1 PM – 2 PM Salad, soup, entree, and dessert (3-6 people)

7 PM – 8 PM Salad, soup, entree, and dessert (1 – 3 people)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Couple in NJ in search of a full-time live-in Houseman for their 13,000-sq. ft. home. Applicants must have previous experience in private service including all elements of residential maintenance.

–       Work Schedule begins at 8:00 AM. You work hand-in-hand and assist in all aspects of house work with our housekeeper of 14              years,

–       Housekeeper lives out, she works Monday – Friday 8:00 AM through 3:00 PM

–       We want someone with very good cooking skills, we dine home 2 to 3 nights a week, informal, occasionally our family and                   friends are invited for dinner, could be 8 or 9 guests, usually just the two of us!

–       Loving care of our dog, Daisy. Feed, walk, love her.

–       No outdoor work except to sweep front porch, side walk, and patio

–       No gardening work.

–       Schedule sheet to be provided weekly and return to us at end of week with your daily hours (40 hours a week).

–       Your hours could vary, some days a little more, some a little less, not to exceed 40 hours a week.

–       All grocery shopping, stocking house, dry cleaners, care for cars, shared laundry, and shared ironing. Need experience in caring             for fine household objects.
